Think Green!!! Most green veggies are very high in calcium and in a very absorb-able form. Milk may be rich in calcium but has been processed to the hilt and the calcium is not very absorb-able. Milk is designed for baby cows but if you gave the grocery store milk to a calf it would kill him because it does not contain the enzymes and naturally occurring qualities that it originally did before processing.
Now back to the veggies.
Broccoli is very good and can be eaten raw or lightly steamed. Carrots have a lot of calcium and are wonderful juiced. You can juice most veggies but do make sure you use some carrots & apples to sweeten it up a bit.
Kale & collard greens are really good either lightly steamed with your favorite herbs & spices--my favorite is cajun seasoning its salty with a little kick! You can also use some fresh squeezed lemon juice on it YUM! If you can try to buy your produce at a farmstand or healthfood store where they don't irradiate the food as it alters the natural qualities that benefit your health. When you have a salad use romaine lettuce, spinach and various other deep green leafy veggies.

There are no fruits or vegetables that have a significant amount of calcium to offer. Your best option to consume enough beneficial calcium is Dairy products. Lowfat dairy products and skim milk are healthy choices.
