Here is one Christian that you have not met yet, I don't do any of these things you mention except I do eat pork, & you may ask why, Because God said that he has given animals for meat, Now read Colossians 2: 16 Let NO man judge you in meats(Pork), or in an holyday or the sabbath. Jesus even told Peter what God has cleansed let no man call it unclean if receive with thanksgiving.

Your question is phrased in a manner where you assume you are in a competition. I would think that I person such as myself knows more about your faith than you do. Surah Hud teaches muslims to read from other "revealed books" and absorb those ideals which resonate (or reinforce) the teachings of the Quran and reject aspects which do not.

I would also like to say here that the Gospel itself (teachings of Christ and not the letters of the apostles proper) seems to have a stronger moral fiber than the ahadith, quran and fiqh put together.

Muslims also do not follow Jesus, they acknowledge him as being a prophet and only follow Muhammad. And at least what Muhammad taught of Jesus.

Finally, if you did hold a competition then the Jewish community would come out the winners. As other semetic fatihs seem to be emulations of their original creed.

I'm afraid you misunderstand what constitutes a Christian. A Christian is one who recognizes that they are unable to live a perfect and holy life by themselves. Asking Jesus to come in and be my God, forgive my sins and be the boss of my life is what makes a person a Christian.

Your religion gives you a list of things to DO and NOT DO. You are a good Muslim if you keep the rules.

CHRISTIANITY IS A *RELATIONSHIP* WITH THE HOLY GOD. I behave better than I did before I became a Christian (most of the time), but it is not because I have to keep the rules. I am better now, because with Jesus living inside of me I have the spiritual power to do what pleases God. I have been given power to avoid things that will make God sad or disappointed in me.

God gave the 10 commandments of the Old Testament to show us what holy behavior looks like. He also gave it to us to show us we could never do this by ourselves. It is impossible for any person to never sin in thoughts or actions.

This is why we need Jesus. He can live inside our human spirit and make us like Himself. He is so wonderful. He has saved my life in so many ways. I love Him.

That's all good, but, the cornerstone of being a believer or "Christian" is acknowledging that Jesus is "LORD".
LORD being the same word used in the Old Testament for the name of God - "Yahweh".
To deny the deity of Jesus is to negate his sacrifice for the forgiveness of our sins. For, if he were just a man his sacrifice would not have any significance and we would still be under the old law of Moses.

And you "believe" those are the teachings of Christ? Perhaps you missed a few, maybe the ones central to his teachings?

If Muslims are a shining example of Christ's love, then why is a teacher in fear because her class named a teddy bear "Muhammad"? Or why can the court increase an unjust penalty on a rape victim because she went to the press? If this sort of disregard for basic human rights is part of Islam and Christianity, I judge your gods to be cruel and inhuman.

Christians might break the rules but we are all just humans and that's what humans do, learn from their mistakes.. if you can say that you have never done the things you have mentioned then go ahead and say that Muslims are better... but if not then don't judge anyone.. God loves us all and in his eyes we are all the same and by the way you judging is not exactly being a "better christian " now is it.. God is the only one with the power to judge us . hope that answers your question...

Wrong. Muslims behave as they do because they are following the teachings of their own Prophet. What you are implying is that the two religions have similar tenets, but that Muslims are better at keeping them than Christians.
Whether that is true or not is an entirely different discussion!

My friend's aunt is muslim and borderline alcoholic...she beats her kids, and cusses at us in Turkish...ok...

Jesus said it's not what goes in a mans mouth that defiles him, but what comes out.

I fast
I pray(semi regularly) but not at 5 set times
I give to to charity
I don't gamble(except bingo....ohhhhhh bingo)...
I don't take interest either....but I also don't have much money to loan people...
I don't worship statues or false gods either...
I'm still a virgin and not married....
Except perscriptions I don't do drugs...
I'm not gay
And Jesus came, gave us a new covenant...those are the laws I follow....

So on the whole....does that make me Muslim or Christian?

Yeah...I thought so.

I take it that you have personally seen every single Muslim on the earth not drink or gamble or do anything bad.

Well, you are either ignorant and ignore bad things about Islam or you are just being a usual Muslim lying propoganda pushing idiot.

Muslims are better christians? That makes no sense. Your either a muslim or a christian. besides the law condems man, not save them. If you think following the law will get you to heaven you are sadly mistaken
