As a child I was always made to attend hymn practise and as much as I hated going, there was this one hymn that really stood out. I wish I could remember a line from the hymn but I can't. All I know is, the word "creed" is in it. It's a very slow and moving hymn. I also seem to think it was called Greensleeves or something like that, I could however be wrong.

It's not exactly a hymn.

Greensleeves is a traditional English ballad, presumably written by Henry VIII about the beheaded Anne Boleyn.

It has nothing to do with religion.

THere is a song called Greensleeves, which is a ballad supposedly written by Henry VIII. It isn't a hymn, and I don't think the word "creed" appears in it.
Could be "Jerusalem" by William Blake (Google for "Hymn, Jerusalem, lyric". ) That has "Green" in it, is slow & moving, but, again, I don't recall "creed".
I think you need to narrow it down a bit!

The Christmas carol "What Child Is This" is set to the tune of a song named Greensleeves. Is that the one you mean?

Yes there is, though I'm not sure it could be called a hymn. It also has an alternate name: What Child Is This?, which is used during Christmas, I believe.

'There is a green hill far away
without (that is 'outside') a city wall ...' perhaps?

It is often sung by children, and has a simple tune.

The word 'creed' is not in it though.
