I trained in TKD and than started Wing Chun. My TKD master says I'm too aggressive and tend to move in too fast. I guess he is right. I'm an older guy than most of my opponents so I don't like to dance around and waste a lot of energy. Our school incorporates a lot of things from other arts and I like to use what works for me. I do all right for a late starter. I try to avoid street fights at my age it takes to darn long to heal.

shaolin kung fu with Jeet kune do theories. That basically sums it up right there. Find something that is set in "stone", then as you progress you explore ways to melt it and re-shape it to your liking. I also tend to be more offensive than defensive. I could fill up 2 pages on how I fight really......

Muay thai.

No-nonsense striking martial art from Thailand , very effective, seemengly simplistic (far from the truth) and second to none.

I tend to be a defensive fighter, prefering to wait for my opponent to drop a guard or make the first move.

Demonstration only, to do it "for real" would end up with a fatality or at best a serious injury or permanent maiming.

I would describe it as fun and diverting.
