Roast young pheasant or partridge on Xmas Eve, goose on Xmas Day and a mix of beef, pork and baked ham for a cold buffet on Boxing Day. The trouble is there are only two of us - we should be ashamed of ourselves!

I usually have a prime rib dinner for Christmas. Some of my family likes to have mexican food. If you're bored try something different this year. One Christmas I may try fixing a goose.

I additionally savour having duck. i like turkey breast shrink into skinny slices and breaded and fried. a brilliant roasted turkey to me is only sturdy whilst it first comes out of the oven, it gets so dried out as a left over and an entire fowl is only too lots for the two one human beings, even became into too lots for the three human beings whilst our son became into with us. i presumed Thanksgiving became into next week, living distant places has somewhat tousled my holiday journeys! This Christmas we are making plans on having chicken soup, roasted goose legs with parsely fried potatoes and purple cabbage, candy/bitter with grated apple interior. Goose is extremely lifelike right here in Hungary, approximately $5.00 a lb. 4 huge goose legs are a pair of million kilo or $10. worth of meat. final Christmas in Las Vegas a frozen, no longer clean goose became into going for $seventy 5.! They sell T bone steaks right here interior the butchers yet purple meat steaks are variety of a greater moderen shrink of meat right here and that they value greater then goose does. i've got no longer had a purple meat steak because of the fact I even have been right here, an incredible variety of alternative great dishes to have. the former day we went ordinary and had selfmade lentil soup and potaoe pancakes with bitter cream. We offered some clean from the farm bitter cream at a marketplace,i will basically purchase clean from the farm to any extent further, it somewhat made a brilliant distinction. by no potential chanced on any bitter cream at any value at any save interior the U. S. that tasted that sturdy.
