Jesus related himself equal to God. Even spoke of it. God told Abraham to tell Pharoah, "I am" sent you.
Jesus told the Pharisees, Before Abraham was "I am"
Apostle Paul spoke Of Jesus not thinking it not robbery to be equal with God (my wording) but made himself of no reputation to be equal to God.

Jesus is God's Son, but they are also as One in the Holy Trinity. The Father , the Son and the Holy Spirit. All are one.

God is a trinity of persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Father is not the same person as the Son; the Son is not the same person as the Holy Spirit; and the Holy Spirit is not the same person as Father. They are not three gods and not three beings. They are three distinct persons; yet, they are all the one God. Each has a will, can speak, can love, etc., and these are demonstrations of personhood. They are in absolute perfect harmony consisting of one substance. They are coeternal, coequal, and copowerful. If any one of the three were removed, there would be no God.

He's nowhere near equal. He was sent by God as a prophet to mankind to carry on the messege of monotheism. He was one in the long line of prophets - Abraham, Moses, Noah, etc... When he said those words he was telling people what God had told him to say. The Bible, written by men, is not credible enough for me to place my life in.

I had long hair and a beard in high school. People said I looked like Jesus.

I also smoked a lot of pot and went to countless protests wearing nothing but a skirt and a bead necklace. And this was the 80's, so the peace and love revolution was just reaching us in South Africa.

Your point?

Jesus was as much the son of G-d as I am..and as you are (if we are to believe that we were ALL created in His image).

As far as Jesus being THE ONLY son of G-d, forget it.

Jews invented the concept of the Messiah and, thus, can say he was not even qualified for the position.

So, who was Jesus?

He was a nice Jewish boy who tried to help the poor and told some great stories....anything more than that is wishful thinking.

Men interpreted Jesus as a God even he never said that clearly in the bible.
