Everybody has an opinion that they think is better than yours. Listen to what everyone has to say, and then think about things for yourself... you're at that age where you can think for yourself now.

Listen to every single angle on everything, and then form your own opinions, not necessarily for what everyone else wants to hear, but what you think is most correct. When considering other people's opinions, don't judge it based on how much you like that person, but how "correct" it seems.

You can pursue a million different things, especially when you don't have an established "identity" at a new school. But rest assured, you're going to be a completely different person 10 years from now.

So, fads pop up and fade away. Popularity comes and goes... however, wisdom is something that's never out of style.

Besides, if you're the objective kid, everyone's gonna wanna talk to you. And everyone's gonna wanna know what you think about everything... and so long as you keep giving objective, unbiased opinions, they'll keep coming back.

If you, and everyone your age starts doing this now, we'll have a better world when your generation's in charge.
