Why do you follow your religion?
is it because your parents did so or is it because you have complete faith on it

Assalaam A Alaikum Vanilla,

Well I am Muslim Allhamdullah and I always tried my best to follow Islam not because of my parents though my mother is really too much religious Allhamdullah she is prying 5 times a day reading Quran and trying to finish Holy Quran 2 to 3 times a month reading Salat o Tusbi and so much more.

But I follow and practice Islam because I feel peace and comfortable deep in my heart I am not saying that I am a very good Muslimmah as in my opinion no one is perfect because we are humans and doing small small mistakes which we are not taking seriously.

I am following Islam because I have very strong belief on Allah (SWT) which is increasing day by day more and more.

Vanillay yaqen karoo kaa hum naa woo din bii dakee haine jab hum naa (Ammi, mine aur chottoeee bahin bhai naa pani mine Namak Mirch mix karr kaa kaya hai but now Allhamdullah the days are better then earlier and its only because of ALLAH (SWT)

Allah is the only one who helps me all the way to support my family and its only because of my faith.

Dear I know only one thing no religion is complete unless you don’t have faith on that religion.

Parents can guide you about your religion but can’t force you for any thing as parents are not with you all the times.

Agar history paroo tuu bohat sii misalee aasi milee gii kaa parents tu naak aur ibadat guzar haine laken auld nafarman hai.

Pata nahi mine naa appkaa swal kaa jwab diya yah nahi laken mine bus apnee dil kee baat likna jaa rahi thi.

Dil too kar raha hai kaa laktii jaoo laken app bi kaya socchoo gi kaa swal ka jawab danee kee bajai ulta sida lik rahi hoo please maff karna pagal hoo mine

Allah Hafiz

I have complete faith in it. If I had followed my parents I would be a Lutheran minister. Years of searching and through trial and error it seemed like when I finally found Islam (or it found me, hmmmm) it was the easiest thing to do to have complete faith in it. It isn't a blind faith though, I still have the right to choose which is important because there are times when blind faith leads to uncertainty caused by those that wish to mislead. Islam has captured my heart but left it open so as not to be misled.

Salam.

1- I worship JUST ONE GOD, Allah
2- My prophet is Muhamed, peace be upon him.
3- My religion is THE ONLY ONE for now that will lead me to Janna (Paradise) isa.
4- Its Sharia (set of laws) are the most fair EVER.
5- It's the final and only true heavenly religion.

Anyone that can tell me about a religion that contains ALL of the above, I'll convert to such one.
Of course I won't convert from Islam to any other religion and I say so as I'm pretty sure that no religion other than Islam has all the above together, or even any of them.

My parents taught me about it but I STUDIED it by myself. And I love my religion more than myself or any body else in this world. I follow Islam because I need to identify myself and to make sure that I'm not an animal but a human being. One day I have to die, and there is a life after death and I would not like to be in the fire, so I started following my religion and its teaching so that I can be at peace after death. In this world we do differentiate between what is good and what is bad, so we definitely know what would lead us towards heaven and hell.

I'm Proud to be a Muslim,Alhumdolillah :) ~!

I departed my parents denomination for one which follows the Bible. Yes, I have faith in God - but it is also logical to believe in God, and foolish to not to accept what is show around and even in you. Belief in the Triune God is the only way to explain in a meaningful way, the laws of logic, the laws of ethics, and every day human experience.
