Organic strawberries in summer, crisp homegrown autumn apples, roasted chestnuts. Naturally grown food tastes so much better than intensively grown, processed food. Can you argue against your tastebuds?.

Sadly though, I’ve never had a homegrown chestnut. The blight took out the trees in my area.

Home grown even better except I am not giving up roasted chestnuts even though I can not grow them. No I won't. No No No.

Oh yes - Several yrs ago on a November tour of Southern Germany, we were on a walking street that brisk late morning and there was wa woman with this large black metal roaster that was steaming and she was selling hot roasted chestnuts. The wife bought some & I tried it for the very first time. They were warm & tasty.

true but it costs more. growing your own is the best because they are cheep and save the enviroment by redusing shipping costs.
