Greenhouse emissions are not improving. Hypothetically, if the western powers cut down their emissions to the level they needed to reduce them to for a sustainable future, but then another major culprit like China refused to, do you think there could be a possibility of military conflict over the emissions?

No. However, hypothetically speaking (of couse), if the West were to become vehement about going green, there would possibly be economic repercussions. Military action against China would do nothing to hurt it... it would just get China to retaliate and start a global war... one that would likely end with nuclear fallout. Instead, offended nations would refuse to trade with China, which would hurt China's economy (as well as the offended nations' economies). Of course, this is why the situation is hypothetical.

no, America keeps saying that china has done nothing about the problem but they are building completely green city's and they still have a per captor emissions of less then the US as well as signing the Kyoto protocol. this is compared to one of the only countries in the world that still has not sighted it and only funds scientists that are global warming sceptics.

No, not directly. They will run out of fossil fuels and fight over the dwindling stocks.

Besides why do you think the West is going to start going truly green any time soon? Both sides will accelerate usage of fuels until it is all gone.
