i went to a party on saturday night. and i had been texting this lad, and he seemed to be interested. then at the party, we hoocked up. but at the beging of the night he told his best mate who goes out with my best mate that hes only going to get with me to night, and he doesnt really care about me. and he doenst want a relationship. is this jsut guy talk to look hard in front og you mates? or what?

It's scary since he says one thing in front of his friends and another in front of you. I don't think he knows what he wants, or that he's too immature to handle your true needs. I would say don't get tangled.

Ok, for a start how old are you and how old is he??
Yes men talk **** when there with their mates especially when they are drinking, but the fact that he told this to his best mate, and he is going out with your best mate, this guy most likely wanted to tell you he only wanted a one nighter or something causal but didn't know how to tell you therefore getting to you through your best mates boyfriend was the easiest way for him. If you truely feel that he does like you, the by all means play hard to get... Simple but soooo effective.

Thats what they call lust. Guys prefer to call it a one night stand. It hurts becoz for you, yo ready to fall in love in a wrong a guy let mi say that. For get about him en move on. It hurts i know but it was just the funny of the night.
Whatever am telling on guy on is brave enough to tell it to you en they will always tell you that I LOVE YOU, IT WAS GREAT. en once you respond the playing starts from there.
If He was serious why did He make such a stupid statement, didn't he think that it will hurt you.

Never listen to anyone saying about someone that said something.
There are so many options, why think about it.
If you like him, he likes you it doesn't' matter what his mate told your mate who told his mate and her mate....
This is a good rule in life, when someone says something about someone elses always go the person and ask, never believe anyone.
I had this thing with my mom. She used to say to us girls about something the other one said, we figured it out soon and made an agreement to always talk to each other about it.
My younger sister and I were very clear about this and so we managed to work out every unpleasant situation. It didn't work very well with my other sibling.
And this is my mom. She wasn't trying to be mean or anything, it is just she used to get things out of context and it sounded so bad when she said it.

If you go out with him for a while, ask him about it.

listen right, guys will say anything to get into your knickers and as soon as they get what they want , and give you what you never wanted (baby), they're just gone. you cannot trust in men, they will let you down. i think its best that you wait until you find the perfect man. just let god choose for you, wait upon him,he'll choose a man that will love you forever. you don't want a man who is gonna tell his friends how good it was with you, you need a honest man.just wait, cause once you got crap in your life, its hard to come out..

You spent the night with him? did you sleep with him if so he is using you, they will tell you they love you etc to get more but they will dump you when they get bored and these guys will never settle down with someone who was easy. He cant possibly love you so soon.

I have only been a man for 47 years but it sounds like he is or will say anything to you to "Get what he wants" (Sex).
I think you like him. I also think that you should not give into his desires until you determine his true intentions.

Well...it' kinda looks grim with what you just said. But if you hear from him again then he does like you. Guys do talk crazy like that to their other guy friends occasionally but do you really want a guy that dogs you behind your back?
