Pro life people......Do you disagree with all abortions.Including abortions on animals like a dog.
Abortions are commonly preformed on pregnant female dogs, when their life is in danger.

I think abortion is distasteful. But then I think all meat is distasteful. Ground up human meat is particularly so since I empathize with humans a bit more than I do with hamburger.

I think sex without a concern for the consequences (without responsibility) is wrong and such people should be fixed. We fix pets out of humanitarian reasons, I should think fixing people would even be stronger humanitarian reasons. Unwanted pets is sad enough, unwanted children is monumentally worse.

From a moral standpoint, euthanizing animals is worse than fixing them. After all, killing is worse than cutting off procreation (or am I wrong?).

Isn't it strange that we find euthanizing fetuses more acceptable than sterilizing irresponsible prospective parents?

We basically find killing more acceptable than fixing.

To answer your question, there are only rare instances when abortion is suitable--forcible rape and to save the mother's life. It is evil to abort simple because you were too weak and had sex and now are too weak to face the consequences. If you get an abortion, go get fixed too. I don't want you to be a parent either--ever!

If people were more responsible for their actions, they would have the pet spayed, therefore preventing pregnancy, get the point. There are just as many un-wanted children as there are animals and that is pathetic! My biggest problem with abortion is that it is being used as a form of birth control, well ladies I need to tell you about this thing called Depo, Pills, sterilization, vasectomy and the number of things available to PREVENT pregnancy, at least using these methods you can say that you did try to prevent the life and death of a child. This is the responsible thing to do, just like getting your pet spayed or neutered, only difference is that we, as pet owners must make the choice for them.

I'm more or less pro choice, but I am intrested in this, as we have had two cats that have had abortions. My father is VERY pro life, yet didn't have a problem.

if her unborn puppies have to be aborted to save her life than it has to be, if she dies when pregnant they won't survive anyway, it's better to save one life then not at all. ps your avator is quite hot!
ps shortsht33 - NO CONTRACEPTION IS 100% EFFECTIVE, WHAT IF YOU WAS RAPED OR WAS GOING TO DIE OR YOUR BABY WAS GOING TO BE SO ILL AND IN AGONY AND EVENTUALLY DIE. WHO GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO STOP A ANIMALS FERTILITY, WHAT ABOUT IF YOU WAS A BREEDER, WHAT ABOUT IF IT WAS A STRAY OR COULDN'T BE NEUTERED LIKE MY CAT BECAUSE HES ILL. THATS NOT MY FAULT, HOW SMALL MINDED CAN YOU GET, IM GUESSING YOU WOULD LET YOUR DOG DIE AND THE PUPPYS.

While I don't think it warrants the same attention as human abortion, yes I am against forcing a poor puppy to abort her pups.

I don't like the idea of animal abortions anymore than I like the idea of human abortions.
