I believed this was the miracle drug for weight loss and ordered a bottle about a year ago. Of course, it didn't take me long to realize that it was a scam. I still receive a bottle every month and am charged on my credit card. I have written Ultra Life PM Fullfillment and returned their products in the past. I continue to receive this product and would like to know how I go about reporting this company and getting my money back. I have emailed them and later found out they are a phony company. Any one else been scammed by this procuct? I need HELP please. Thanks

Contact the Better Business Bureau (bbb) and ask them how you can file a complaint against Hoodia.

Call your credit card company, and explain the situation. Inform them that scammers are billing you monthly for a product that does not work, so you need to put a stop payment on any further bills.

Now, depending on how much money you've lost, it may or may not be worthwhile to pursue further legal action. If it's less than $1000, you'll end up spending more than that in legal fees which you will most likely not get back, or you will spend more time trying to get your money back than the money is actually worth. So unless it's a huge sum, just move on, you got duped, it sucks, there's not much you can do.

For your amusement, go to http://www.419eater.com/ and watch some masterful social engineers trick scammers into doing bizzare things. It won't help you get your money back, but it might make you feel a bit better.

You need to change your credit card number, report it stolen or what have you, so they can no longer charge it.

GET WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY
AND HAVE THEM STOP ACCEPTING THE MONTHLY CHARGE. THEY WILL WORK WITH YOU.
