My mother has a brown free standing fridge/freezer which she has had for a long time & its now about shot it ! She wants another brown one to match the other items in kitchen.... they all seem to be white or stainless steel now.........anyone know if brown ones still exist..... have tried a few places without any luck

When I was a kid, my mum was always obsessed with altering the colours of our kitchen appliances - We even had a chest freezer that looked like rippling water!
She used to go to the DIY store and buy rolls of FABLON sticky back stuff - It came in hundreds of colours and designs, was easy to apply and it's still available.

I could find three companies offering brown fridge freezers - Maytag, Neff and Smeg (although the Smeg one is listed as 'dark yellow'). However, none of them are exactly cheap - the Maytag retails for £2,500!
As you have discovered, brown is not a popular colour for kitchen appliances...
