Yes i have proved in front of a group who wish to know the truth of Jesus , the sad thing was after i asked the lord to do something and he did , they where amazed as they new i had nothing to do with what happened , and they had no explanation for it,they could not believe there own eyes .So why is that even when given the Prof these people still do not except it .

sure, the bible may be corroborated and proven to be true, but this would be purely as a relationship between the archaeological finds and the bible as a historical source, which when viewed in the context of other sources of the time, is not always corroborated.
but in relation to the actual existence of god, a piece of used toilet paper is a fair equivalent.

I am sure there are many things that can be proven in religion ...
but none of which prove there is a God and none of which prove that religion is the correct or only religion

If 'prove' means 'show conclusively that it is true', then probably not.
If 'prove' means 'test it, and see if can be shown either to work or not to work', then perhaps yes.
But then I doubt that anyone here is interested in this kind of answer. They just want to air their prejudices, and try and do down those who think otherwise.

Plenty of things in the Bible have been backed up by modern archeology, but that still doesn't mean that Christianity is 'true' and that god exists.
