I'm in college so I usually go for Vladimir Vodka. A 5th only cost about 6 of 7 bucks

depends what you have a taste for....
cheap bottle of wine (i prefer white-any kind), has more alcohol than beer & you can get for less than $5
or a small bottle of your fav hard stuff & just take shots. about $5-$10
beers & wine coolers are watered down, dont get ya buzzed very quickly & cost more in the long run

Cheapest, nicest, and strong?
No such thing. You get what you pay for.
I like some cocktails, but they're not cheap (Mohito, Capiringha (and these are not expensive) and others...more expensive than that) Whiskey is strong, but if it's cheap it's not good.... :-(
Silly teacher to ask something like that. She's old enough to know better.

Vodka. It has little to no taste of its own, so can be mixed with almost anything you wish & allows you to control the strength of the drink.
