.
MARY OFFERED SIN OFFERING AS A SINNER!!!!!!!!!
She is indeed a sinner, conceived in sin, born a sinner, lived a sinner, and died a sinner.
Thus, Mary was born sinner, and after being made unclean by the birth of Christ, offered two turtle doves (Luke 2) according to the law of Moses in Lev 12; one turtledove for BURN offering and the other for SIN OFFERING, and by her action and confession....
Luk 1:47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. For He hath regarded the low estate of His handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed........proved that Mary is INDEED a sinner and she needed a Saviour (Luke 1:46-47), badly!!
Alas, one catholic priest tried to say that a sinless needed to bear the Son of God and tried to flaunt his list of earthly credentials.............
but the Bible prophesies state that
Isa 7:14 .... Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
.......a virgin shall conceive....and not,…. a SINLESS shall conceived…!
The priest was wrong, AGAIN. May God have mercy on his students!!

God had predestined Jesus Christ to his vocation as inaugurator of the Kingdom of God and of his new humanity, but if Jesus Christ was so elected by God then so were those who had been historical links in the chain leading to Christ. Mary was elected as the last link in the chain before the appearance of Christ.
"And a great portent appeared in heaven - a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and on her head a crown of 12 stars".Mary's mothers name was"Anna"Genesis 3 : 15 :"The seed of Eve will bruise the serpents head"
Already in the beginning,God had elected Mary to her unique vocation in the scheme of salvation. It is the obscure people whom he chooses for his work. Among them a special place belongs to Mary.We are not wrong in believing that ages ago BEFORE she was conceived in the womb of Anna,Mary was onthologically CONCEIVED and SANCTIFIED for the divine purpose. She was created by God, not by her old and barren parents. Therefore she did not have the stain of original sin.
That is why she is "The Immaculate Conception."
Mary was, from the beginning, "endowed with grace",or in the more familiar translation"full of grace".To be filled with grace is to be in the opposite condition from that of original sin.Jesus is the Saviour to everbody, including Mary.Mary still had free will to accept God or not.
Prove to me that Mary was a sinner.Does it say in your Bible Mary was a sinner ?
Do the others in this forum understand what i have written.Mary was conceived the same way Jesus was.by the power of the holy spirit .That is why her conception was immaculate. Mary did not know why she was chosen by God ,that is why she was humbled when the angel announced she would conceive. She did not think she was good enough for this incredible gift from God.This is Catholic doctrine.Other Christians find this impossible to comprehend so they deny it.They make up all the lies about Mary as a means to show their disapproval.I cant believe how ignorant they are.If you mention the word "Catholic" they see red,and become angry. If they don't understand something, why do they have to tell lies about it?
EDIT.....To those who have insulted Mary with their viscious lies, do you realize you have committed a grievious sin and have turned your back on God.You are saying these things about God's Mother.Would you be offended if another Christian said that about your mother? Are you sure you are Christians? I am not making this up. Do you really want to get to Heaven. ?
EDIT....I expect to get many "thumbs down " for my answer, but i don't care .It will only show your bigotry and ignorance on the subject.

Mary is not perfect. Only Jesus lived a perfect life on Earth.
"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one" -- Romans 3:10
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
"Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:" - Romans 3:23-24

No where in the bible that I am aware of says she was without sin. The bible says we are ALL sinners. "Let he who live without sin cast the first stone." Jesus said this, and as I remember it, even he did not cast a stone.
Mary the mother of Jesus is only mentioned a handful of times in the bible. I'm not sure how the catholics know so much about her. Maybe they have some insider knowledge that the rest of us christians don't have.

Here we go again . . .
For the record - it is an INFALLIBLE doctrine of the Catholic Church that the Blessed Virgin Mary was preserved from the stain of original sin and remained sinless her whole life.
Mary was saved as were we all by Jesus Christ. It was through Him that such a grace was bestowed upon her.
Why does it bother some of you Christians so much that Mary played such a key role in salvation history and that so many graces were conferred upon her by God?

"Immaculate conception" is a bit of FICTION. It is built around a misconception that presumes we are born with guilt for our ancestors' sins, but Ezekiel 18 tries to make it clear that all children are born innocent. Since all are born innocent, there is no need to dream up a way for Jesus to be born innocent.
Ezekiel 18:3 “You will not use that proverb in Israel anymore,” announces the LORD and King. “And that is just as sure as I am alive. 4 Everyone belongs to me. Father and son alike belong to me. People will die because of their own sins.
... God presents a hypothetical family of alternating good and evil fathers and sons...
... 17 He keeps himself from committing sins.
He does not lend money and charge too much interest.
He keeps my laws and follows my rules.
He will not die because of his father’s sin. You can be sure he will live. 18 But his father will die because of his own sin. He got rich by cheating others. He robbed his relatives. He also did what was wrong among his people.
19 “But you still ask, ‘Is the son guilty along with his father?’ No! The son did what was fair and right. He was careful to keep all of my rules. So you can be sure he will live. 20 People will die because of their own sins. The son will not be guilty because of what his father did. And the father will not be guilty because of what his son did. The right things a godly person does will be added to his account. The wrong things a sinful person does will be charged against him....
...30 “So I will judge you people. I will judge each of you in keeping with what you have done,” announces the LORD and King.
“Turn away from your sins! Turn away from all of the evil things you have done. Then sin will not bring you down. 31 Get rid of all of the evil things you have done. Let me give you a new heart and a new spirit. Then you will be faithful to me. Why should you die, people of Israel? 32 When anyone dies, it does not give me any joy,” announces the LORD and King. “So turn away from your sins. Then you will live!

With God, ALL things are possible, so it is possible that Mary conceived a child without laying down with someone. But I doubt she was blameless (without sin).

She was a sinner like the rest of us.
I was going to mention the fact that she refers to the Lord as her "savior" before I read your question.
So, if she needs a savior, she needs to be saved from sin. Makes sense.

If the human mind is degenerate enough to reject logic and instead choose to worship invisble sky gods, anything is possible.
