Well, in theory, if you did not believe in the "right" god, then you would not be let into heaven. Almost every religion I know of requires at least belief in that God to enter heaven.

Well, as my concept of God doesn't depend on a particular religion, I'd accept whoever it really was and ask if there was a class in heaven that would teach me all the things I was wrong about. I also already consider that my concept of God may not be correct, so it wouldn't be a big surprise to me. I think I'd actually end up laughing, remembering all of the hypocrites I'd known who swore they knew exactly what and who God was. The look on their faces would be priceless and if God had recordings of some sort of people coming into heaven, I'd want to watch them all. I think it'd be hilarious. ;)

I believe that the 'God' I believe in, is the same God as all the rest. It doesn't matter which name he/she/it is known as or the finer points of the religious denomination. God is God, the almighty being, creator of earth and all its existence. That will not change because of a name. And yes heaven would be where I would chose even if God wasn't what I was expecting. I am sure he wioll be much greater than anyone coulkd ever imagine or fathom.

The God I seek (i.e. worship) is the God (by whatever name) who created me. I seek my Creator because I have this longing inside of me to know the One who knows me and created me.
You seem to have firmly fixed that Christians just want to go to heaven or avoid hell but the Christian idea is that heaven is just a place where those who want to be with their Creator will be with Him. Hell is just a place for those who want to be independent of any authority over them.
I think your question is not so much for us as it is a rehearsal of what you plan to say in case you do meet God face to face. This is the argument you will give for not seeking Him, i.e. you didn't want to worship the wrong God.

That would be proof that all paths lead to the same end..
Good news for everyone..
However some of these Gods like YHWE/Jevhoha/Odin/Zeus
are really Violent.
I would prefer someone/somewhere more peaceful like Nirvana or Goloka

Even before we were dead.
We been kick on the butts as casualty of the dead Mummy in not worshiping God in climbing up the coconut trees and still look green with lost sense of direction and purpose of life without being aware of it.
While the dead were all laughing in their graves .
Until idol of statues had tears on them .
Could not stop themselves from laughing at the misery of living human kind.
When we were the living and not the dead yet.
Luke 6.39-40,41-45,46-49
What do you think?

I'd think I was a nutjob or that someone had drugged me.
Then if it proved to be that there really was some regional primitive deity before me, offering me a place at the table, so to speak, I'd give the god a big old chummy-punch:
"awww, shucks, Ganeshhiiiii!!.. You had us all going for a while....!"
...then head for the nearest drink...

I would be so grateful that I was right about there being an afterlife, happy that the deity I didn't worship was mature enough to forgive me for screwing it up, and tickled pink that I had been proven wrong and now knew for sure what there was after death!
Then I would ask to see my Mom, and, BOY, would we be having even better discussions about religions!
