Lately I always hear on the news or current affairs about the latest glacier thats melted or major flooding etc which starts to bore me after a while and listening the so called greenies and experts that we are all doomed.
After all should I give up my life style of travelling in big jumbo jets, driving my car, buying endless amount of clothes and shoes, and anything that uses electricity whether it comes from renewable sources or not.
Personally I think its a big scam

It is a scam. People like Al Gore are motivated by their desire to make money on the business of global warming. Al Gore owns stock in companies that sell offsets.

Don't feel guilty. The Earth was warming and cooling long before you were born, and long before mankind was here. In the 70's it was global cooling, now it's global warming. It's a religion, not a fact.

It's not a scam and feeling guilty doesn't help so don't bother with that. However, trying to take steps in the right direction would be a good thing to do.

Maybe you could from now on pay closer attention to companies and products known to be more eco-friendly. Choosing renewable energy is also a way to at least show you support for renewable energy sources.

Do not feel ashamed about it. Instead, figure out a way to develop alternative sources of energy. The best is nuclear. Thats right gang, nuclear. And I say let the US Navy run the program. They have more operational nuclear reactors in service producing more clean energy than anyone else in the world.

Yes; Gorbal warming exists, but only when Al opens his fat trap. So drive on and enjoy life.

Well, it's not a big scam. You have to look at the motives on both sides of it. One is motivated by keeping the status quo of our economic system, while the other is motivated by a concern for our earth.

You personally shouldn't feel guilty, but even small lifestyle changes could help a lot, if we all pitched in.

This isn't a new thing either, it's just getting too hard to ignore.

Yes you should feel guilty. You should give up everything that means something to you because the world is dying and your possessions are worthless without a planet.

Give up all your money and freedoms and trust politicians. Only politicians can save us now.

Move in a cave and eat fruits and berries. Only then do we have a chance.
