Not sure, just hope it doesn't have to do with grinding up camels...

Hi,
I assume you mean Chamomile tea? (sometimes spelled camomile) this is a herbal tea made from chamomile flowers. Usually, Roman (blue) Chamomile is harvested for the best tea, though any flowers of the family can, and are, used.
It is taken to relax people and is suitable for restless sufferers to help with insomnia. It tastes a little 'flowery' and is a pleasant mild tasing drink.
To prepare it from 'fresh' you will need a quantity of dried Chamomile flowers (or, if you have a supply, some fresh flower petals) If dried you will need approximately a heaped teaspoonful (a little more if fresh). Put in a cup or jug and pour fast boiling water over it. Wait for around five minutes (if dried) for the flavour to infuse properly, then strain into a clean cup and drink and relax.
(If using fresh petals the five minutes can be reduced to two or three)
You can buy the tea in bags from many stores and this is (nearly) as good as making your own.
Enjoy,
BobSpain

It's actually spelled Chamomile Tea and it's simply a caffeine-free garden variety herb tea used to relieve stress and anxiety while promoting calmness. Many people drink it before bedtime to help them sleep as opposed to taking a sleeping medication.
I listed a good source on teas below. Hope that helps! ^-^

German Chamomile is used medicinally against sore stomach, irritable bowel syndrome, and as a gentle sleep aid. It can be taken as a herbal tea, two teaspoons of dried flower per cup of tea. For a sore stomach, some recommend taking a cup every morning without food for two to three months. It is also used as a mouthwash against oral mucositis. It has acaricidal properties against certain mites, such as Psoroptes cuniculi. The primary active ingredient of the essential oil from German Chamomile is bisabolol.
The active ingredients are essential oils, notably chamazulene, flavonoids and coumarin.
Chamomile is also used cosmetically, primarily to make a rinse for blonde hair.
