While I fully understand the desire for Christians to spread their beliefs, it often does more harm than good. I have seen the Christian faith attacked ruthlessly throughout North America, and can only predict the same elsewhere. Christian holidays like Christmas and Easter have been brutally attacked in places like San Francisco and Seattle, yet little or nothing is heard about the Jewish faith, Muslims, or anyone else having to limit there celebration of the holidays. My town has recently banned the nativity on private property; an act that is entering the courts this week. This is unacceptable, especially considering that I have not heard of praying towards Mecca being banned anywhere.

Why would anyone want to. Besides I am sure that ethnic people in these countries already have their own belief structure. It is disrespectful to impose something else on them. Look at how the white man's curse was place on native Americans, that was a real debacle. If someone actually wants to be a christian, then let them. But to impose this on people who do not ask is the highest form of disrespect.

I am afraid that you will find it a tall order.
The churches in India have Indianized ways of worship. Hindus will quite happily visit churches and mosques.

If you ask me, we are all atheists in the garb of Hindus. Whether you deny God, or call everything God, the result is the same.

Why bother?

In a hundred years or two it'll all be undone as those countries end up majority atheist anyway (just like what is happening in the post-Christian west).

Please do not. The last time I read about Christian converts in India they were protesting the Da Vinci Code by starving themselves.

Let the people act on their own accord.

They're just starting to get the industries needed to help their people out of poverty...no aid organization can produce the same effect. They will be less susceptible to religious extremism once they are able to feed themselves and are not so superstitious.

Please don’t . I travel to China every year for a month . I am considering living there permanently. I don’t want to have to waste my time de-brainwashing my friends after they have been evangelised to.

Hasn’t anyone told you that it is wrong to impose your beliefs on other people ?

It is so refreshing to go to a country like China where you can live in peace without the annoyance of meeting Christian evangelicals passing judgement on you.
