If you walk towards a wall first a step at a time , then a half step , then a quarter step , and so on ....
You know that if you continually travel towards something you will eventually touch it . Yet , If you keep going at rate of only 1/2 the previous distance , you will never touch that wall .
So infinity is the smallest distance ( space ) that can exist . Yet we can add up all the smallest distances for eternity and still not reach the end of infinity .
It is beyond human ability to understand infinity .

Eternity could be considered life without death.
Living still in the flesh, but never dying.
Thats what the Bible promises.

(Revelation 21:4) And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Living in the flesh would require somewhere to live.

The Bible says where.

(Psalm 37:34) Hope in Jehovah and keep his way, And he will exalt you to take possession of the earth. When the wicked ones are cut off, you will see [it].

Yes there is eternal life but not in this earth because this earth will vanish. New earth and New heaven will be created by God and that is where the righteous will live eternally with God.

Sure.

But I won't be around to see it.

Time progressed before I was born, and it will continue to do so after I die.
