Actually this was just kind of a poll to see what people's response would be. Thanks for the input everyone. BTW I actually am an Nivdia fan and own a Geforce 8800GTS.

Depends on what you want, ATI is known to have better color quality. Nvidia is know for it's Raw power. Right now for the best price a Nvidia 8800gt is the best out there. Keep in mind that this is DX10 where most new game coming out will be DX10 older games are DX9 where ATI seems to have more advantage at the moment

Currently, nVidia.
The GeForce 8800GT 512MB is faster than every ATI card, yet it's only like $250.

there's no real answer to this question...they each have their good points and their bad points...it boils down to just a matter of personal preference...like asking which is better, chevy or ford

I've always preferred ATI; much more compatible and simpler.
