hello,
so i bought this lotion
(skin therapy lotion; for dry, flaky skin; it exfoliates and moisturizes)
and it has AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid),
and it says to use with a sunscreen.

So i was wondering, do i put the lotion on FIRST then the sunscreen
OR
the sunscreen FIRST, then the lotion?

thanks
:)

and answers would be helpful

i read somewhere that you should let (either sunscreen first, or lotion) absorb on your face before you put the other one on,
i just don't know which one
LOL

if you can use sunscreen with a built-in moisturizer, the better;
otherwise if they're separate, apply the lotion first, wait at least 10 minutes to be absorbed, then apply the sunscreen.

I usually recommend using a sunscreen in the AM, for dry or sensitive skin in your case; and using the lotion at night.
Mixing the lotion and sunscreen will dilute the effect of both.

Get a good quality, oil free sunblock, like Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer Dry Touch sun block, and it should moisturize and protect at the same time.
