I reenlisted in 31OCT07 and I submitted my reenlistment/srb package 2 months prior to that. Unfortunately my chain of command did not submit my paperwork to psd until the 17th of October. When I reenlisted my SRB request still showed as "Pending" and still does. I was told that SRB payments are being "Prioritized" and since my EAOS is not until March that I am low priority. It has been almost a month since I reenlisted and I am wondering if there is any way to tell how long it will be until I can expect to receive my SRB?

The defense bill was approved just a couple weeks ago so your SRB shouldn't be held up too much longer as long as it's approved. Stay on your divisional Career Counselor or your Command Career Counselor to keep you updated on that. Once it's approved... check with your friendly neighborhood PS's regularly to see when the initial installment is going to post. Don't worry about being a pest... yeah, NCs and PSs may not like it too much.. but we DO understand that this is a major chunk of money for you that you are counting on.

Congrats on your decision to "Stay Navy!"
