My best educated guess would be probably $50,000 or more. He's a really famous musician so he can charge a lot for a private performance. That would probably be for only a few songs.
The other problem would be scheduling. A lot of times musicians travel so if they have to go out of their way to your wedding they would probably want more $$$.

I don't know about Stevie Wonder, I know that Elton John will perform for $1 Million to be donated to his charity. Good luck.

Some artist you can get for as little as $10,000. I know George Clinton and P-funk is $30k. BUT... my suggestion, is to contact the manager of the artist you would like and discuss the options of them working your event. Keep in mind, you might have to work around tour schedules, so determine what and who is important to you.

parents book celebs for their daughtes and put out upwards of 40-100k per act if not more
try calling some casting agents to see what they say

i would go with 50 thousand or higher, newer singers now days go for the rate around 20-30 thousand...and it is a deal you guys should figure out with him. good luck!
