Unfortunately, because of health and breathing problems, allergies, and natural weight problems, the lifespan of English Bulldogs is shorter than that of other dogs. Eight years is a good length for them. However, My nephew has one that he has babied and kept indoors all its life and its 13. However, it now has advanced cancer and he's going to have it put down.
