I'm trying to learn more about my religion and I find this subject very interesting. I've read, from many answerers on this site, that there will be 7 years of something, satan will be locked up for 1000 years, but then released, and he will be beaten again for one last time. My question is: When the antichrist comes, will this be during the 7 years or after the 1000 years of Satan being locked away. Because if the antichrist comes before the 1000 years, then it already happened (Jesus descended) or it's still to happen. (Meaning we will not witness anything in our lives?) It would be nice if someone could explain it to me very simply, not in references to the bible. Thanks.

I still don't get it. Does that mean after the antichrist comes, there will be 1000 years left on earth, or will the world end?

The antichrist will make his appearance immediately after God's army miraculously destroys the Russian and Arab armies invading Israel. Expect this to happen any time between 2011 and 2030. The rapture of the church will have already occured – Jesus coming to get His flock.

Antichrist will then sign a seven year peace treaty with Israel which he will break half way through when he stands in the Temple (yet to be built) and declares himself to be God. This begins the 3.5 year tribulation which ends at Armageddon when antichrist and satan are defeated. Satan is then put away for 1000 years and Jesus reigns in New Jerusalem.

The earth meanwhile is restored to it's original condition prior to the fall of Adam and Eve. The remnant left after Armageddon will repopulate earth. Even though they have no satanic influence, man will still manage his evil ways causing satan to be released at the end of 1000 years for one last battle. After that satan is thrown into the lake of fire.

the anti-christ is suppose to come near the END of time
really muck things up..and Jesus comes back and saves
the day...

the 1000 year theory is that AFTER that satan will be
chained up there will be 1000 years of peace then
he's let loose in a second battle....

(if you didn't know it there has never been a 1000 years
of peace on this planet ever...)

whats unclear is who the people are that will
around during the 1000 year reign? are those to be the
people that never got a chance to hear the gospel?

or is it those whom already heard the gospel and were
saved...so a 2nd culling will happen to remove even more
of those that were faithful in the first part.

i am not sure what to think of the 1000 year reign but IF
it does occur i'd hope it was for those who did NOT hear the gospel the first time around.

The antichrist will come during the seven years of tribulation. Satan being casted into the bottomless pit will be some 1000 years after that. The antichrist will come after Christ has caught up his church. After the antichrist is cast into hell after his 6 plus years here on the earth, Christ will desend from heaven and rule for a thousand years.

The anti-Christ isn't just one person and the anti-Christ is already here as the Bible does not refer to only one antichrist but says at-

1 John 2:18: “Young children, it is the last hour, and, just as you have heard that antichrist is coming, EVEN NOW there have come to be MANY antichrists; from which fact we gain the knowledge that it is the last hour.”

2 John 7: “Many deceivers have gone forth into the world, persons not confessing Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.” (Notice that the “many antichrists” of 1 John 2:18 are here referred to collectively as “the antichrist.”)

So then is the coming of the antichrist reserved for some future time?

1 John 4:3: “Every inspired expression that does not confess Jesus does not originate with God. Furthermore, this is the antichrist’s inspired expression which you have heard was coming, and now it is already in the world.” (That was written near the end of the first century C.E.)

1 John 2:18: “Even now there have come to be many antichrists; from which fact we gain the knowledge that it is the last hour.” (By “last hour” John evidently meant the end of the apostolic period. The other apostles had died, and John himself was very old.)

Some of those identified as antichrist—

Persons who deny that Jesus is truly the Messiah

1 John 2:22: “Who is the liar if it is not the one that denies that Jesus is the Christ [or, Messiah, anointed one]? This is the antichrist.”

All who deny that Jesus is the unique Son of God

1 John 2:22: “This is the antichrist, the one that denies the Father and the Son.”

Compare John 10:36; Luke 9:35.

Apostates

1 John 2:18, 19: “There have come to be many antichrists . . . They went out from us, but they were not of our sort.”

Those who oppose Christ’s true followers

John 15:20, 21: “If they have persecuted me, they will persecute you also . . . But they will do all these things against you on account of my name.”

Individuals and nations that oppose Christ as King or that themselves falsely claim the Messianic role

Ps. 2:2: “The kings of earth take their stand and high officials themselves have massed together as one against Jehovah and against his anointed one [Christ, or Messiah].”

See also Revelation 17:3, 12-14; 19:11-21.

Matt. 24:24: “False Christs and false prophets will arise and will give great signs and wonders so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones.”

There is 'antichrist' by John's definition in his Epistle:

1 John 2:18
[ Warning Against Antichrists ] Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour.

And THE Antichrist, which will be a political leader who strives to bring the world under his control:
Daniel 7
8 "While I was thinking about the horns, there before me was another horn, a little one, which came up among them; and three of the first horns were uprooted before it. This horn had eyes like the eyes of a man and a mouth that spoke boastfully."

11 "Then I continued to watch because of the boastful words the horn was speaking. I kept looking until the beast was slain and its body destroyed and thrown into the blazing fire. 12 (The other beasts had been stripped of their authority, but were allowed to live for a period of time.)

20 I also wanted to know about the ten horns on its head and about the other horn that came up, before which three of them fell—the horn that looked more imposing than the others and that had eyes and a mouth that spoke boastfully. 21 As I watched, this horn was waging war against the saints and defeating them, 22 until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came when they possessed the kingdom.

24 The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings. 25 He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time.

He appears in the Book of Revelation, but before that he appears in this:
2 Thessalonians 2
1 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers, 2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. 3 Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for (that day will not come) until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

5 Don't you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? 6 And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time.

In fact, you might want to read the whole chapter.

Jesus told us about him, that he would go into the temple, something that is like a cue to God, to come and make himself known to all the world:
Matthew 24
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

Finally in the Book of Revelation, it says this:
Revelation 17
11 The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction.

No evil ever turns into ' a stable '. God isn't a transformational being as human beings are . To monkey with Christ and Jesus does no longer mean God needs us to accomplish that . human beings can hallucinate a want in God to rework for us so our trick to rework follows healthful .there is not any different call given under heaven wherein we could be saved, in spite of the shown fact that Peter did no longer say what that call replaced into outstanding there . the clarification for that's there a secret interior the call .

For god sake, tell Jesus not to descend; during his short period on earth, he has created so many problems, division among people, etc. etc. Finally, he could not control himself and preferred to go to hell on the cross. Sorry for believers, open your eyes and see the truth; because of him, the U.N is having difficulty to remedy the whole situation

Think about what you are asking. Does it make any sense to you - really? Do you actually think someone is going to come down from the clouds? Oh, this is so ridiculous I don't want to go any further. The whole idea is completely incredulous. What utter nonsense - it is or comes close to insanity.

After the Rapture will come the seven years of tribulation during which the Antichrist will have power. There are loads of timelines around if you look. Revelation isn't the clearest book.

You are describing the Book of Revelation. This prophecy was fulfilled long ago when Jesus judged and then destroyed the Roman Empire. But folks today prefer fiction to reality. Jesus Himself said they would!
