I'd say Kimbo would win in a MMA match, and butter bean would win in a boxing match.

Thats a tough one. I am going to go with Kimbo, sheerly on the fact that he is training with a legend of MMA. You didn't specify what type of match it would be, but if it was under MMA Rules I would go to the bank with Kimbo everytime!

similar size both comin into mma recently might be a legitimately good fight

I'm not sure who would win but it would definetly reinforce each fighters 2nd rate status if they fought.
