soldiers are just enlisted straight into the army, Officers, however go to O.C.S. (Officer Cantidate School) which is like a "high speed" army college for four years and come out as 2nd leutenants, or "butterbars".

Not sure what you are asking here. All members of the Army and Army Reserve are "soldiers". These are divided into officers and non-officers. Non-officers are usually referred to as the "enlisted" personnel. Non-officers also include the "noncommissioned officers", including the corporals and sergeants.
The difference between officers and "enlisted" personnel is rank. Officers are a higher rank, usually denoting higher authority granted by the government and the military.
The officer corps is further broken up by rank, as is the enlisted corps. Rank goes from Private, the lowest enlisted rank, to General (4-stars, and usually the highest officer rank). There have been some 5-star "Generals of the Army", which is the highest military rank possible, but this is rare.
The Army Reserve is made up of the active ready reserve and the inactive ready reserve. Both can be brought back to active duty, as we have seen in the past few years. The rank system is the same as in the active-duty Army.

A soldier is anyone in the army. An officer is like the managers of a business but in the military so to speak.

There is no difference,as a person who enlists in the Reserves is called a Reservist, be he/she an officer or a non-officer. But soldiers who are not officers are referred to as Enlisted Personnel.

it's the same as active duty. you salute officers. granted officers are also soldiers...anybody in the Army is a soldier. Difference between enlisted and officers is that enlisted do the saluting.
