Both "Easter Bunny" and "Goldilocks" contain erroneous statements. That is to be expected, but let's not impute any malicious intent. None of us are experts on the details of every religion. I have found that the best way to find out what people believe is to ask them (not someone on the outside looking in). The suggested websites are a good option, but why not just ask a J.W. next time you see one?
Also in reference to one comment; If you believe you have lifesaving truth at your church, shouldn't love for God and your fellow man motivate you to want to share that with others? Is that what you would call Jesus did, "pester" other people with the gospel/good news?

I do because I am a Jehovah Witness. we do not knock on anyones door on sunday morning because we are at the Kingdom Hall until 12 o'clock. we don't ring anyones door early in the morning. if you want to learn about Jehovah Witnesses please see the website at www.watchtower.org. some on here who turned there back on Jehovah and Jesus love to slander us, they have alot of hate. like unsilence lamb and nina. and edge. we are not a cult, a cult live and work together. we are in 236 lands worldwide. we worship Jehovah and do what Jesus Christ commanded at Matthew 28 verse 19 and 20. we do not worship a man

I am one...since I don't know exactly what you want to know(since there is a lot to us), I will just sum some things up about us. All our beliefs are Bible-based and so we use God's Word, the Bible to guide us in our everyday life(2Timothy 3:16,17). We use God's name, which is Jehovah(Psalms 83:18) and we believe in Jesus Christ(he is the foundation of our faith)....who is Jehovah God's son and first born creation. Also from our research and continued studies of the Bible we learn that only 144,000 humans will be ressurected to life in heaven to rule over the rest of righteous humans on a paradise earth in the near future(Psalms 37:10,11,29 and Rev.14:1 and Rev.7:4,9-the book of Revelation is a very symbolic book and we have a Bible study aide book entitled REVELATION-IT'S GRAND CLIMAX AT HAND which helps explain each chapter and verse of Revelation). We do not celebrate holidays and birthdays due to their background and origin...but we celebrate the death of Jesus Christ annually.
We are down to earth people...we work...go to school...have parties(anniversary, baby shower, bridal parties, graduation, dance, etc.), we wear jewelry, we enjoy recreation and entertainment(as long as it is wholesome), etc. We are non-judgemental because we know that we cannot read a person's heart, only God can...but we are sinners too just like everyone else...we are imperfect and at times make mistakes. We get sick, some of us are broke(like me...lol). We are also known to go preaching from door to door(house to house) or out in the public on the streets-and this is because we are following Jesus command at Matthew 28:19,20-to go and preach....we do not force our beliefs on anyone but it is up to each individual to decide for themselves what they will do once they hear what God has in store for mankind and what is required of each of us.
You can find out much more by visiting our official website: www.watchtower.ORG or www.jw-media.ORG
or
you can visit any kingdom hall.
If you have any more quesitons feel free to ask me....
and if you haven't noticed we also face much opposition from people because the are ignorant of our beliefs and just go with the flow or because they do not like to hear the truth of many matters.

I do and i'm one myself.
FoxyWilli-------We go out in service after our sunday meeting is over. Go to the Kingdom Hall and go to the Sunday talk and the Watchtower study on Sunday and find out for your self. In my town we have three congregations: 2 English and 1 Spanish. Go to your local congregation and see for your self. You are so misinformed about us. go to watchtower.org and check everything out. Where I live every year at the First of the year we change times, I'm in the north congregation right now which has a 9:30am meeting. The South congregation is at 12:30pm and the Spanish congregation is at 3:30pm.

BABYGIRL.......you don't really want to know the truth my dear, you're only here to stir up hate and discontent. It's sad how misery loves company.***shakes head in pity****
One day you and a lot of others will be looking for JW's and you won't find not one, because our work of spreading the good news to those with receptive hearts will be done, and the lot of you will be left just like the ones in Noah's day....waiting for Jehovah's judgement.

I do and so do many others but you take the chance of finding someone disgruntled about them and may be misinformed by them. The best source for info is to ask a JW themselves.
