There are two specific references:

1) Matthew ,chapter 18, verses 12 thru 24 and
2) Luke, chapter 15, verses 4 thru 7

So many references in the Holy Bible use the lamb as the subject. Jesus the Lamb of God, was His sacrifice for the sin of mankind. This was the greatest sacrifice and the last sacrifice ever needed .
