They took it because my sister was playing with it, and the only reason was because she had stolen my keys to the lock! Now they think I was letting her shoot at her "sworn enemy" and won't give it back no matter what! What should I do?

Parents do things like this. When I was younger, my parents stole my BB gun (didn't have airsofts) because the neighbor said he saw my brother and I shooting our younger brother - which was a lie.

Basically, all we had to do was be incredibly nice and offer to help around the house for a week or two, and even taking out the trash and stuff that we were supposed to do without them telling us to without them having to tell us to do it. Then they saw that we were really innocent, and they gave the guns back.

I can honestly see your parents doing the same if you do what I did. ~Cheers

Even if you didn't "let" her use it, your keys were where she was able to steal them. I assume she's too young to be using the airsoft. So, it's your responsibility as the airsoft owner to keep it safe from children.
I'd think the best way to persuade your parents would be to think of a better way to keep the airsoft secure. Figure out how you can keep the keys out of her hands, or use a combination lock that she can't open. Once you have developed your improved safety plan, run it by your parents and ask them their opinion of it, and whether they can think of any ways to make it better.
When they see that you are serious about your safety precautions, maybe they will reconsider.

My boys have these guns and although they are pretty good about keeping them from their younger brother who's six, he got at one once. I freaked. He was trying to shoot the cat. I took them all away and was ready to chuck them out until they did something that surprised me. They took their little brother aside, told him what he did was wrong and that he needed to go and tell mommy and daddy the truth about how he got the gun. (he snuck into my sons room through the crawl space under the stairs to get it.) Up until then, we thought they were irresponsible. And once the little bugger confessed and acknowledged what he did was wrong, we apologized and gave them back their guns.

Talk to her, and tell her how upset you are, and maybe once she realizes what she caused, she will talk to your parents, and clear up the situation. You can also be mature about it while this is happening, be responsible, and show your parents you can handle it.
