SO I havent had the strongest faith in god becuz of some events i've gone throo and very severe depression; I feel that whenever I did pray he didn't hear me, so I gave up all faith. But things have just gotten worse, i've lost alot of friends, i've never been so lonely and miserable, and just ready to roll over and die.....I want to think that he can help me, an I should have faith in him, but Idk....??? btw i'm 16, and i'm sorry if this sounds stupid, I just am miserable.

He will always help if you ask and pray everyday. You cant lose faith things will pan out for you soon. Not only can god help but people around you can too just talk. We can help by praying for you which we will. Don't give up and look at the positive god gives you. Like your home with Internet access. That's one positive.

Come on you are such a young person that you should not
even think of death. Life is God's best gift to humans and having given that He will certainly give resources to enjoy it or
atleast make a positive use of it.
Difficulties do come, but either these are your training sessions or your tests. When you pass your tests, you feel
happy and acomplished. I enjoy the food most when I am
hungry. When I was about 22, I dialled a phone but it proved
a wrong number and suddenly I was speaking to a girl I did
not know. The segregation of sexes in our society is so rigid that I remaianed happy for one week, just on getting an opportunity to talk to a girl.
Therefore, the deprivition is only relative. If you lost a girl friend, you might make many friends during Christmas or
New year holidays. If you need a job, just look around. But
most important thing is : HAVE TRUST IN GOD.
Believe me He is our best friend. If you get His friendship, then you need nothing else. So have trust in Him and in a
secluded place pray like this:
"Oh God I know you are going to listen to me.
But I am so young that I cannot wait long.
Please help me to be steadfast and
give me peace of mind. Guide me to your
path and listen to my prayers as soon as
possible. You are my only Hope, so please
do not let me down"
Give yourself three days after this prayer. Or
better still pray like above for 3 consecutive
days. You will certainly get a response. Your
problems will be sorted out one by one.
Do no despair, no night can stay longer than it should.

You're not stupid, we all go through this. Sorry to hear you are so sad and going through hard times. Yes, God is always there listening to you even if you can't see his presence or believe it. Have you ever heard of "Footprints?" It is a great poem for what you are going through. Don't give up. You are a very sensitive person. Just know that in time, not ours, but in God's time, things do get better and you will understand why all of these events are happening. You just have to stick around long enough for the good to come back your way. God Bless.

No offense taken. Let's face it, life can be pretty sucky sometimes. Now is not the time to give up on God. He's real and He's out there. I Know. I had a tough time finding Him myself.
Jesus says you gotta knock on the door and He'll answer. That means you've got to put some effort into establishing a relationship. You can't just say "Yo God, I need you." You gotta go after Him with all your heart. Do that and He'll make all the clouds in your life disappear.
If you want some good friends who won't dump you, why not check out a local Christian church. A lot of them have youth programs. I bet you'll fit right in. No B.S., no preachin. Just good company when you're down.

That doesn't sound stupid at all, and please don't give up, my friend. God CAN help you, and there's nothing He'd like better, but you have to do your part. It's very important that you read the Bible, keep on praying, and try to see and do God's will for you. You need to be talking to other Christians, too. Get with a pastor at a Bible-teaching church, and join a Bible-study group (or two) if you possibly can.
And, please, find a clinic or therapist to help you with your depression. Depression is a tough struggle for anyone, but it's even worse if you try to deal with it all by yourself. There's no need to do that. Plenty of help and support is available but you must get yourself out there where the help is. If you want you can e-mail me.

God always hears you. This does not sound stupid. You are not alone in wondering if God really will help you. Satan would like you to believe a LIE....that God is not really there for you, that He does not listen.....but that is wrong. I am going to pray for you to stand firm and believe in God. Sometimes He will allow us to go through things in order to become stronger....and to know that we NEED Him to help us. So, don't give up on God..He is right there waiting for you to talk to Him. Being 16 is confusing in its self. Some times it is a very hard thing to do, to believe with out having any evidence of your prayers being answered. But God loves you, and He wants to help you. Faith is believe with out seeing. When you pray, trust that God is hearing you and that He will answer. You sound so depressed. Do you have any one that you trust that you can talk to? Maybe your parents, or if not maybe a friend or counselor. You do not sound stupid, you sound depressed and confused. And you have not offened. Please talk to an adult who can help you. And remember, God loves you. And He wants to help you, just trust and believe that He will. God Bless you.

do you have friends of whom you have never met? of course not, you had to meet them first.
would you light a candle and put it under a bed? of course not, you would put in on a table or a place where all can see that enter your house.
yes He can and will help you.
you must first invite Jesus in your heart, so you can have that Light to led you.
just surrender to Him now, and ask Him to show you the way. the darkness you have now will be replaced with the light of the love of God through Christ.
close your eyes and talk to the Lord just as you would if your closest friend was there.
Jesus said... to lay all of your cares upon Him for He care for you. ask and it Shall be given, seek and you Shall fine, knock and it Shall be open unto you. the Lord is waiting with out stretched out arms to receive you into His flock.
