Depends... I'd imagine that you're not forcing a christmas tree upon Muslims or anything... But you have the constitutional right to decorate a christmas tree in your home.
If the Christmas tree is at work or in a store, that's another issue. This blatantly says "Merry Christmas," but on Rosh Hashanah Jews aren't recognized in stores. The Christmas trees in public just state "Christians are the majority." These religious decorations ignore other religions.
As a Jew, I'm not too offended by the decorations. Yes, most americans are Christian. What offends me is when Huge banners are posted, displaying "Happy Holidays" (religiously diverse, right) in RED AND GREEN WITH PICTURES OF SANTA CLAUSE! And when people throw in a "Happy Chanukah" and produce Chanukah cards, it's not worth it. Chanukah is a minor, relatively worthless holiday. The really important observances are the ones that get no attention... not even a day off school (Yom Kippur, Rosh Ha'Shanah). Chanukah is seen by most as a "big Jewish holiday" because it falls near Christmas.
In short, there's no problem with Christmas Trees. Just don't assume that since you're Christian, everyone else is celebrating the most important holiday with you. Realize that, although the majority, Christians aren't the only people in the world.
Additionally, a christmas tree isn't "just a fir tree with lights"... it has meaning... as a RADICAL example, a swastica isn't evil, it's just hooked cross... but what it stands for has serious meaning....Obviously a christmas tree doesn't represent evil, though. It is a sign of a joyful holiday, Christmas.
So while a christmas tree is a fir tree with lights, it stands for something that's more powerful.

Offend? Hopefully not. Annoy? Probably. I mean personally I'd be freaking annoyed if I were Jewish, I think. Because Christmas is everywhere, absolutely saturated in our culture...down the street, in movies...and everyone wishing me a merry Christmas. But at the same time...it's not like a Christmas tree has anything to do with Jesus.

No it shouldn't offend anyone. If someone is offended by a Christmas tree then they probably never had one before.

It sure isn't going to offend the Pagans.
I don't know how anyone could be offended by a little green tree with a star on top.

Look at it this way: would you be offended if you saw a menorah on display somewhere? I would venture to say not, so I'm sure the adverse is true. I consider myself a devout Christian but I would be very appreciative for someone to wish me a Happy Hanukkah, after all, it's not what's said as much as it is the intent behind it, right?

Nobody is offended by Christmas trees, or at least they shouldn't be. If they are, they are probably not the kind of people I'd want to know anyhow.

I was raised in a fundamentalist religion that did not believe in Christmas. One year my parents let us have a small tree, but we had to promise not to talk about it at church!

If it does, then they do not belong in the USA.
My family fought in wars so we can have the freedom to put up a Christmas tree if we want to. The government should remember why so many soldiers died instead of trying to be politically correct.

The bible says you'll go to hell if you decorate a tree and sing around it because that's what pagans did. No it's not offensive, its just a tree. This type of celebration happened long before Jesus was born.
