If the girl he was dating for several weeks was a prostitute and all he wanted was sex then no there is no difference. If she went out with him to get to know him and she expected him to pay for everything(I did this when I wanted to get to know a woman) then yes there IS a difference.I didnt date just to get sex,if youre going to do that forget dating and just hire a hooker..All women do not put out just because a guy pays for a date, that is insulting towards decent women. If you dont LIKE paying for everything make it PLAIN up front and tell your next date youd like to get to know her and maybe you 2 can get together for dinner, youll pay half and she can pay half. Most women will be insulted, a few will think of it as an investment in getting to know an honest cheapskate.

Nice question. It really makes me think.

However, I believe the purpose of courtship or dating has always been to get to know each other. Hence, if the guy or the girl feels it is not going to work out, either of them have the option to call it quits.

However, it would be morally upright if both of them went Dutch. Again, in my opinion, no one should expect his girlfriend to give sex just because he is paying for the dates. It is un-chivalrous. I would, in my case, wait till marriage to have sex.

A woman who takes money and offers sex in return is immoral only if she is doing it for fun. However, there are many who do it to feed their children and out of compulsion. I would not brand them immoral.

Hope this helps!

well if she has no intentions of having anything to do with him from the start and just uses him to get things , I would consider that only a little higher than a prostitute in moral-ness.
