NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Mixing frontline and other flea/tick products between cats and dogs is dangerous. You can easily kill your cat by giving it dog medication and you can easily kill your dog by giving it cat medication.

The flea/tick medication for cats and dogs are made up of completely different chemicals.

PLEASE NEVER give cats what dogs should have and vice versa. EVEN FOOD!!! Cat food is bad for dogs (too high in protein) and dog food is bad for cats (not enough protein).

No, don't. NEVER put a any treatment intended for one species on another. In actual fact, dog and cat Frontline are the same drug, but if you put even the small dog size Frontline on your cat you will be overdosing it quite a bit - Frontline Small Dog covers up to 10kg of animal, and no cat weighs that much!!

Fraid you'll just have to get the cat Frontline. Trust me it is not WORTH finding out what might happen. Never risk overdosing on anything. Worse case scenario you'll underdose and have wasted a pipette of Frontline.

You always have to treat ALL your animals when one has fleas, because they all end up getting them. If you so object to the different sizes of Frontline, then get the spray version, which can be used on dogs and cats. Just work out the dose carefully. If your dog is larger than 10kg however, this will be rather an expensive way of doing it however and you may as well just get the right versions of the spot-on.

Could be the strength or a different solution. I suspect cat and dog fleas are different. I would get some for the cat.

NO.....................
Please don't
My best friend did this thought one drop would be fine and thought it was just some marketing thing the company does but its done for a reason. Her cat started salivating and have nasty seizures because of this. It took the vet 3 days to nurse the cat back to health....she was so bad that the vet had to watch her round the clock so whatever you do call the company first and if they don't know call a vet.....don't take the chance...either buy a box of that stuff for cats of pay a crap load of cash for vet bills.....

I've had both a dog and a cat. They're both really different/ Dogs are more playful and active than cats are. Cats just want to cuddle =]

NO!

Cats are NOT small dogs. Flea products designed for dogs usually kill cats. Never give a cat medications intended for a dog (or medicines intended for a human). Please see your vet and get a flea product intended for feline use.

NO! they are different formulas and cats absorb things different than dogs! It is my understanding that it would make a cat very sick.
