yeah you guys are right it is n'est because i just copied it from some onlint site somewhere which was wrong

First, there's a little mistake : Un menteur n'est jamais cru, même quand il dit la vérité. ("ai" is the conjugated form of "avoir" for the first person ("j'ai") )

I think it's "Un menteur n'EST jamais cru . . . ." Literally, "A liar is never believed even when he is telling the truth.'
