I swear to God that I would not do these certain activities. I broke it many times. I feel terribly guilty and I am afraid that God would punish me. What can I do to be forgiven? I am Buddhist.

If repentance is part of your religious practices then repent with a humble and contrite spirit and refuse to bend toward breaking your word.

To repent means to forsake that which is unholy.

Look to the beautiful Buddhist wisdom then. All your difficult feelings are transitory, and everything in this world is temporary, like waves hitting the shore. You meant your vow at the time, but now it is no more. You really have no need to be forgiven or punished. It is what it is.

Everyone has made promises and broken them. It's human nature to make mistakes. God will forgive you if you ask Him. Jesus died on the cross so we can have forgiveness of our sins and freedom from condemnation and guilt. I know you're a Buddhist, not a Christian, but Christianity teaches of a loving and forgiving God, and that's what you're looking for.

We've all done this. First off who is your god. Don't Buddhist's just worship nothingness. The only way to find forgiveness is to find the true and living God that can actually forgive. You can't stop sinning on your own. You need Jesus.

Switch to Theravada Buddhism . And forgive yourself meaning you must make amends or atone as well as learn to avoid repeating the same mistakes. As someone who endorsed strongly Buddhism here is a pertinent quote.
"I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation and is but a reflection of human frailty.
Albert Einstein "

God knows what promises you can and can't keep. Just think about it next time before you make a promise. He'll forgive you if you are truly repentant in your heart, I'm sure.

If you are buddhist what are you talking about. The research I have done is you don't have a final judgement and no God. Karma, reincarnation do not murder etc..

Wait...listen to yourself.
"I've done some things that I think god feels is wrong, and I'm afraid. I'm afraid he's gonna punish/torture me because of it".
Now, how does that really sound to you?
Does it make any sense?
