If you mean "Gray" to be that relativistic measure of morality set by popular standards in contemporary society which when compared to the written Codes of Law (in Black and White) from the Five Books is shocking to the uneducated. The Black and White you mention therefore is only a characterization of ignorance. Learn the Five Books and know what it means to be moral.

Most people think I'm pretty black and white on the surface, but upon getting to know me, most find shades of gray. And sometimes, if they can coax it out of me, they find some color, as well.

I think it would be completely impossible to think that way --- I personally think EVERYTHING falls in the "gray area"....
For example: some people are pro-abortion, and some are against it.... What about when a woman is raped? Or if she gets pregnant via incestual relations...? There are soo many gray areas....!!!
LIFE is a GRAY area!!!
:)

No... But I love the song "Black and White Television" by Jethro Tull. Just in case you were wondering.
I also like "Shades of Grey" by Billy Joel.

I used to when my OCD symptoms were in full swing. Thankfully I take the meds prescribed for it. Now I tend to be in a lot of different shades of gray.

Ditto UP.
I used to say that there was no black and white only shades of grey that appear black or white in comparisson. Then I met someone who reminded me that the world is in vivid full color and our lives should be too.

I'm not certain that pure black or white even exist, only shades of gray, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, & violet.
