I WAS FIRED FROM MY LAST JOB AS A NURSING ASSISTANT AFTER ONE YEAR FOR TOO MANY ABSENCES. IVE TRIED GETTING A NEW JOB BUT IM HAVING TROBLES AND STILL WANT TO CONTINUE LOOKING BUT IN THE MEAN TIME I NEED SOME SORT OF INCOME TO SUPPORT MYSELF WHILE JOB SEARCHING PLEASE HELP!!! HOW DO I FILE FOR UNEMPLOYMENT.

You go to the unemployment office and ask them for forms required to file for unemployment.

Go to the unemployment office in your area and they will file the paper work for you.

you need to go to Wisconsins unemployment office and register for unemployment ensurance and or register for work itself.

keep in mind that your previous employer has to state a reason thats viable for unemployment for you to recieve it, your first unemployment check, after they agree that you qualify, will not arrive for at LEAST 6-8 WEEKS after the decision has been made

You can apply for unemployment, but since you were fired for cause, your own misconduct, you might not be found eligible to get it.
