Wilted lettuce can be made crisp agan if....?

Wilted lettuce can be made crisp agan if it is allowed to soak in a bowl of water for a few minutes. How does this idea relate to the process of osmosis

Osmosis is the process of some liquid passing through a semipermiable membrane to equalize pressure, Wilted lettuce is void of liquid, If allowed to soak in the bowl of water , the water will penetrate the membrane to equalize the pressure within the leaf. The penetration of the membrane is osmosis.
