Veel olen laps, kes päiksekiiri püüab
ja virveid veel.
Mind tuulehoogki nimepidi hüüab
nii tihti veel.
Veel olen laps, kel, nähes lepalindu,
kõik meelest kaob,
pilk haarab õhku, silmad täis on indu
ja süda taob.
Veel olen laps, kes kõige järel ruttab,
mis särav näis,
kes näoli maas üht õit võib taga nutta,
peod lilli täis.

i'll answer this GOOD sometime later - gotta get to work - but here's a (very) loose translation:

Still I'm a child who catches Sun rays
and [riffles?].
Even the dashing wind calls my name
still so often.
Still I'm a child who, when sees a redstart [ladybug?], forgets about everything,
grasps the air with a glance, eyes full of fervour
and the heart pounding.
Still I'm a child who hurries after everything
that seemed glittery,
who can mourn a petal with my face down on the ground,
hands full of flowers.

It's a clumsy translation but gives you the idea...
Have a good day. :)

EDIT: Sorry, i'm too dead to give it another shot... :(

Yes, it's Estonian. The word kõik = everything gives
that away.
The title of the poem is "Lävel"= The brink
I tried looking up the individual words, but
couldn't find most of them. The only ones
I found that had any meaning were
Veel olen laps = I' m a child again.
Maybe someone else can translate the whole
thing for you.
I also Googled the poet, Ellen Niit, and found out
that she is a famous Estonian poet and writer
of children's books. It would be nice to read
some of her works in English.
