Call the cops if you know where they are at. This could very well be Lewd Conduct With A Minor Under 14 and/or Statutory Rape - depending on your state's laws. BTW: What is her dad doing about this? If nothing, may I suggest that you tell your parents about what is going on so that they can call Child Protective Services? This is WAY TOO WRONG TO BE IGNORED. Take care!

A 12 year old doesn't date a 21 year old. This is not the forum for seeking advice of this nature. If what you say is true, you are not the right intercessor, and the help needs to be professional, legal, and above reproach. This "Yahoo" forum can't guide you. Talk to professionals, your parents, a guidance counselor, etc., and see what local resources you can offer your friend. There is a clear lack of judgment and understanding on all sides here.

The age difference is questionable, with a preteen just going through puberty and somebody 3 years removed from high school. You should tell your friend that is a huge red flag Anybody should know that it is illegal, both your friend and especially the 21 year old. Try to step in yourself by telling your friend that even consensual sex is illegal, that is why it is called statutory rape, because it is based on statutes, not consent and the longer it goes on, the worse punishment he is going to get. Then threaten to call the police and carry through if she ignores you or calls your bluff.

Call the police and tell them everything you know.

This man is a pedophile. There's no reason for a 21 year old to be dating a 12 year old. He wants sex with her and that IS illegal.

First, you will not be betraying her,TELL HER DAD or MOM!!! The only reason a guy that old would be dating her is because he is a pervert and he should be reported to the authorities. If her dad already knows then go to the police. Get her some help fast!!!!

Well depends on what the 21 year old is doing but it is not good. What about her mother? Maybe an anonymous phone call would help. Child Protective Services. His going to jail is minor here. It would not help if he is in jail and she has a child. Even if no baby then her psychological health would be compromised for a very long time.

If you are truelly concerned for her safety, then call the cops. I know it's extreme and your friend might hate you if nothing is really going on, but if you think this guy is going to hurt her you're better off safe then sorry. And good luck trying to talk her out of dating him, she will just accuse you of being jealous, but be there for her she will come to her senses and need help picking up the peices after all this

Defiantely call the police. This guy is a damn pervert and the outcome is NOT going to be good. How can the father know and let her go on like this? He's just as sick as this 21 year old guy.

Call the police! Really! This is not good. It might be dangerous! If her dad knows and is doing nothing, there might be something wrong there too. Call now! A true friend would!

Talk to someone at your school. Since the dads knows and is doing nothing you should notify, a pastor, police officer and contact children protection services or known as CPS
