Konnichi wa! I took japanese and chinese languages in college, and my lover miyuki is from japan. She studied karate, and so did I, as well as several Chinese, Korean and Tibetian styles. I took karate, and i'm not sure if they use the same names, but it's all japanese so first learn to count in japanese the fast way(phonetically spelled here)
ich, nee, son, shee, go, rook, sich, hach(rhymes with crotch lmao), ku, ju
again, thats the same as 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 in japanese

again, thats the fast way of saying it, like we learned to say it when counting while stretching. Also, ask your sensei/shihan for a sheet of Japanese terms. That what we got and me and my friend would study it.

Ichi, nee, san, she, go, lock, sheechee, hachee, que, joo. 1-10 (one is ichi)
Arigato - thank you
wa-ka-roo = I understand
wa-kara-nai = I don't understand
meegee = right
heedaree = left
