I have two days to decide my MOS and I'm pretty sure that I am picking MP. What do you guys think about it? Pros and Cons??

Well MP's are usually pretty busy.

Not exactly your normal run of the mill police force.

You could end up in a guard tower at a radar site or patrolling a residential neighborhood on a military base.

I believe that MP's are one of the better or at least more rewarding jobs in the military.

I liked doing it for the Navy. If you enjoy law enforcement, then go for it. A big difference between being an MP and a civilian cop is that as an MP you're going to be standing a lot of gate. I'm not sure how it works for the Army, but we used to get 12 hour duty checking IDs at a gate.

MP's in the Marines get shifts, sometimes you get weekends off and sometimes you have to work. It also depends if your a field MP, a guard or work on base doing other stuff. I think MP could help you in the future with law enforcement, i heard their basic is fun (excluding the pepper spray)

If your long term goal is law enforcment good idea.If not Iwould not recomend it . Think farther ahead and decide what field you want post military and then make your decision.
