I think of a quaint village that has cool shops & restaurants, as well as a bunch of rich snobby people.

I think of the times we went there as a family when I was a kid. We'd go for the weekend and we always stayed at the same hotel. Nothing fancy but we didn't know the difference. There was a jacuzzi and it was the first time my sister and I ever sat in one! We loved it and stayed in it as long as we were allowed, every trip. In the mornings we were allowed to get up and go down the beach by ourselves to a little playground on the sand. My parents would join us there later and we'd all go to breakfast at a place called The Cottage or something like that. I remember they had great bread!

If someone told me s/he was from Laguna Beach I would think s/he is rich. I try not to judge people based on where they're from, so other than having money, I wouldn't assume anything else about that person right off the bat.

Laguna Beach is a nice artist enclave that's on the beach. Lots of nifty little shops and restaurants. Also, there is the Sawdust Festival and Pageant of the Masters. The beach itself is small, but very nice. It's pretty expensive down there.

If someone said they were from there, I would wait until they said more to influence my thinking. It doesn't matter where a preson is from, it's how they treat other people that matters most.

Well, since I speak spanish too, I first thought that it was a beach on the edge of a lake because laguna means lake in spanish. Is there a lake, even a dry one, near the town that I don't know about?

I think of going to the strip on PCH where all the shops are. Right across from the library. I used to go there when I was a teenager. Good memories :) I also take my kids to the park at the beach sometimes and they love it.

I think of just a funky place. Because I went there so often as a child I do not think of it as a rich place. More of a place where gay folks live.
