I want to know what TV shows are filmed in NYC, I may want to visit some of them. Also, what shows can you get tickets for and how long does it take to get the tickets?

If you look at the first backstage link below and scroll to the bottom, those are the studios that produce film & TV shows in NYC.

On the second backstage link (you'll have to scroll a bit to find the New York based productions, you will see the shows being shot in NYC as well as those that are audience based such as "The View" and "Late Show With David Letterman".

With the writers strike happening, a lot of shows have stopped production. However, the 2nd link also has TV show links in there where you could find links to get free tickets to shows. Though, as I have said with the writers strike....who knows how long it will take before things go back to normal.
