I just started to take 75 mgs in the morning and 75 mgs at night. I did read all the info on this medication but would really appreciate firsthand experiences. Did you gain weight, lose weight, have more energy, less energy, did your appetite change, did it affect your sleep? I could go on and on so PLEASE, say whatever you may have noticed from taking this medication.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Lyrica can cause weight gain. I haven't encountered this outcome often, but it is entirely possible. Lyrica can also cause drowsiness and dizziness. Typically, these symptoms improve as your body becomes accustomed to the medication. If you have these problems, talk to your physician. She may recommend going back to a lower dose that did not cause problems, and then try the increase again at another time. As far as affecting sleep, the most common sleep effect is better sleep (due to the previously mentioned drowsiness associated with Lyrica). I have not heard anyone complain that this medication interferes with sleep. However, if the benefits in pain relief outweigh the side effect, you should continue taking it. Additionally, if you decide that this medication is not right for you, you need to discuss discontinuation with your physician. Sudden disruption in therapy can result in side effects, as well. This drug works really well for some patients, and for others, not so well. Just see how you do, because one person's outcome can vary wildly from another's.

I am on Lyrica for two years but only 25mgs at night before bed. You do not state what you are taking Lyrica for? I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriasis and few more problems. However, they started me on the Lyrica for neuropathic pain waking me at night. I was already taking 2mgs of Valium to stop muscle spasms at night, so was kinda concerned mixing them. I am also on Fentanyl Durogesic patches Fentanyl being 80 times stronger than morphine.
Anyway in for a cent as they say, so started the Lyrica. Glad to report, the neuropathic pain ceased, so that was a BIG bonus. Sorry no weight gain or weight loss? Energy levels, well they go up and down anyway, like today I jumped out of bed went on a three mile walk in the woods, then went shopping. Expect to be exhausted tomorrow, so this for me is normal, energetic days and lazy days. No appetitie the same, eat when I feel hungry like after the three mile walk, on lazy days when I am not burning calories I eat less, which is normal. Sleep, as the pain was waking me, well now the Lyrica has kicked in, I am sleeping and 'enjoying' my sleep, which I was not doing before, dreaded sleep due to waking with the pain. All in all 25 mgs has done me the power of good. I have no intentions of moving up to 50mgs, let alone 75mgs, twice a day. Like they started me on 5mgs of Valium before bed and I woke up two days later! So I split the pill, started taking half every other day for a week and then evenutally half a pill everyday, so asked for the 2mgs not 5mgs. The smaller dose works far better than the bigger dose, but then it is a balancing act along with other types of medication. Good Luck.

I didn't have any weight gain when I started taking Lyrica however I did experience cramps in my legs. They did get quite severe for a few weeks but then as I got used to the medication they went away.
Once in awhile I get a little dizziness but it is very infrequent.
Good Luck !

Hi, I take one Lyrica every night. I've noticed weight gain. At first I quit taking it b/c of it. My pain is so bad now that I don't care if I swell up like a blimp! That seems like a lot of mgs to be taking. ,Mine are only 50. I used to get really drowsy on it, but not anymore. I have ankylosing spondylitis and my Rheumatologist is the one who urges me to take it. Other than that.. . I've not really noticed anything. Good luck with it hun!

Neuropathy is really a unpleasant condition but with the book of Dr. Randall Labrum, Neuropathy Solution, a book you will discover here https://tr.im/2Th6M you are able to eliminate thermosetting pain this condition cause it.
If you follow all the therapy options presented in Neuropathy Solution guide correctly your brain can discharge endorphins, or “happy chemicals”, and these will allow you to combat pain and alleviate stress.
The Neuropathy Solution does not need too much idea, just helpful assistance as possible set to work immediately.
