Viruses are species specific and we cannot give or receive illness between cats and people.
Ringworm is the only thing I know that both cats and people can get and that is a fungus, not a virus.

there is a VERY slight chance of your cat getting sick if it comes in contact with your blood so no roughplaying

Only if it's a virus that cats are able to catch too. Doesn't help much, but it's hard to know what virus it is.
